High quality crabs
The quality of a crab says a lot about the taste, structure and amount of meat in the crab. Take our ‘soft shell crab’ as an example: producers who follow the natural growing and molding process without any antibiotics or forced methods, deliver soft shell crabs of the very best quality. Unfortunately, there are several other producers who cut off the crab’s claws and legs to speed up scaling. Next to this being extremely animal-unfriendly, this also causes the crabs to have less meat. This is because scaling does not take place because the crab has grown out of its current shell, but because its claws and legs have been cut off.
Because of these reasons, all of our soft shell crab products are grown in the most natural way to ensure consistent quality.
Our range of crabs
Our crab assortment consists of different types of crabs that are delivered throughout Europe:
King Crab: These crabs grow to a reach of 6 feet (1.8 meters). The crab is very flavorful and the legs and shoulders are full of meat. We supply this crab raw as well as cooked, in clusters, blocks of meat, claws or legs.
Snow crab: The snow crab is smaller than the king crab and is offered in cooked clusters and meat blocks as well as in claws. Its meat is sweet and flavorful.
Soft-shell crab: These types of crabs have just scaled and are still soft. They are completely cleaned and can therefore be consumed as a whole. This product is served fried.
Scratching scissors: This is a real Dutch product. The crab claws are of excellent quality and are offered raw.
